At Ingenico ePayment, we currently are actively looking for a hands-on Operations and Infrastructure manager who will be leading a growing team of currently 3 Linux System Engineers. We look for someone who have a consistent expertise in Linux administration and a strong desire to manage passionate System Engineers.
You’ll manage and improve the existing systems and scale up to cope with the group growth. Uptime and service availability is driving you to excel in every aspect of the sysadmin, networking and security field. Your tasks will include:

YOUR JOB
• Hands-on management of the Infrastructure & Platform operations
• Define the Platform & Infrastructure strategy, architecture and continuous improvement plan
• Define processes and procedures to monitor performance, reliability and security
• Work with the developers to achieve operational excellence in a DevOps mindset
• Manage and achieve Operational Level Agreements defined with business
• Report according to defined PKIs
• Manage engineering team, hire new people, train and retain existing people
• Define & Maintain the BCP/DRP plans
• Guide the team to meet quality requirements for operations
• Implement industry standards appropriate to the business, in relation to the security team (PCI-DSS, …)
YOUR QUALITIES
Background/Experience:
· University degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent through experience
. Proven technical expertise in Linux (Red Hat / CentOS) system engineering and open source solutions
· Experience in a transactional/financial environment is an asset
· Experience of working within an international environment is an asset
· Experience in platform, data center and network operations
· Deep understanding of high availability techniques and platform security
· Experience in DevOps
Soft skills:
· Natural flair for coaching, motivating, and interacting with people
· Relevant experience as people manager within a service oriented environment, or ability to demonstrate these skills
· Experience to be one of the leading DevOps persons
· Able to work in a real time and fast growing environment

Challenges offered by our business environment:
- Ensuring the compliance of our infrastructure with the highest level of security imposed by our sensitive business activities and industry standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards),
- Sizing the infrastructure while foreseeing the growth of the number of transactions processed by our payment services platform (>50% yearly) and of the number of services provided,
- Planning the capacity of our infrastructure for the next 3 years, under specific and complex constraints, to sustain unattended and sudden peaks of transactions (web ticketing sales, online donation, e-commerce limited-in-time promotions,…)
- Keeping our platform constantly up-to-date while respecting the ‘zero down-time’ expectations of our worldwide spread customer base, tolerating no ‘system maintenance’ even during night or week-end.
