This is the role
In this challenging position as Manager Logistics Benelux, you are responsible for the Transport- and Production planning of our Production site in Roermond, in cooperation with the logistic organization of Rockwool Central Western Europe and our Sales organization. The Manager Logistics Benelux monitors internal regulation of capacities in cooperation with master planning. As Manager Logistics Benelux you are also responsible for the development and coaching of your employees (2 directly and 15 indirectly). The Manager Logistics Benelux, will be working with modern IT-systems and is responsible for Process analyses as well as development and planning of process optimizations and the further development of the performance measurement system. You as Manager Logistics Benelux are responsible for cost, production and budget planning in close cooperation with controlling. The Manager Logistics Benelux, supports and manage projects and negotiate with forwarding agents in cooperation with ROCKWOOL International.

This is what you bring

  • Bachelor level in Commercial, technical or logistical studies
  • Multiple years of working and managerial experience as well as a good knowledge of the building industry
  • Fluency in Dutch, German and English
  • Good understanding of: SAP, organizational-, production- and distribution processes
  • Ability to convince and motivate people and to drive change
  • Structured, target- and customer-oriented and pro-active way of thinking and working
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Agility, flexibility and team player
