For one of our clients, an international organization specialized in the manufacture, import and distribution of branded and own-brand products from the food and drink industry, we are looking for a native Junior Supply Chain Coordiantor with a Supply Chain / Warehousing or Logistics background.
Job description
As a Supply Chain Coordinator it is your job to process the logistics part of the ‘B2B’ business (direct sales), consisting of controlling the sales and purchase order flow, monitoring the loading and arrival dates, updating the SAP system accordingly, checking related documentation, creating the invoices and sending these out to our customers, together with all necessary paperwork. In case of changing arrival dates you consult with all parties involved to find a acceptable solution.
Principal Responsibilties
- Check order files of Fixed Contract products, including carrying out changes and / or instructing others to do so
- Draw up L/Cs for orders of FC products
- In charge of deliveries on demand within FC products, including sending reminders
- Putt order files for FC products into the archive
- Draw up, checking and sending invoices for ordered FC products for clients in Europe
- In charge of development and planning of new routes / instructing others to plan them
- Arrange transport for intercompany orders
- Draw up and keeping up forecasts of FC
- Drawing up, keeping up and communicating about shipping info for ordered FC products and PTM’s shipping plan
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Have intermediate/higher vocational level (HBO / MBO+) of working and thought, preferably logistic studies (candidates who just finished HBO Logistics have the preference)
- 0 – 2 years of (relevant) work experience, preferably within FMCG and Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehousing
- Have knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Be result-oriented in achieving deadlines
- Be meticulous and accurate
- Capable of working on one’s own and in team
- Have a flexible mentality to work in an ever changing environment
- Good communicative skills, both towards colleagues and (international) logistic partners, customers and suppliers
- Excellent mastery of Dutch and English (verbal and written); candidates with workable knowledge of French or German have the preference
