Payconiq is a new payments method entirely based on bank transfer payments initiated by the client. We feel everybody should be liberated from hassle to make life more enjoyable. Whether you are a consumer or merchant, everybody. We believe that simplification can only be done by removing layers, not by adding them. That’s why we found the solution for payments in something you already have, your bank account. We help you to make payments on your terms. You decide whenever, wherever, however.
By using a basic cornerstone of the European Payments Infrastructure of Bank Accounts coupled with mobile payments, new legislation and state of the art technology, we have designed a European payments solution capable to make any kind of payment as well as extra Services where a payment can be attached to. We are making the near future of mobile payments reality for everyone and we do this in a social and cocreation fashion with our clients, we are taking them on a journey. We are not here to provide just tech, we are here to enable people, communities and businesses to expand and grow because in the end, people make payments, smartphones don’t.
Payconiq is currently in the midst of becoming its own business, independently of the client. For this reason, the successful candidate will be hired on an external broker contract until year end 2016, after which the candidate will receive a regular Payconiq contract.
What are we looking for?
In order to strengthen the team and prepare for expansion of both the product and geographies, we are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Business Developer Payconiq International.

Your role is very diverse, and no day will ever be the same, your primary tasks/deliverables will be

  • Be overall Sales liaison for the various Product Lines in Payconiq. (Shopping experience POS/ Online and Partner API
  • Set and achieve Sales Objectives set for Belgium and other countries for Payconiq
  • Present and train various sales staffs so that they fully grasp the idea of Payconiq and be able to transform this to merchants
  • Assist in technical and commercial integration projects to improve the client experience for Payconiq clients and create additional value
  • Investigate, negotiate and execute partnerships in order to expand the reach of the Payconiq product with resellers
  • Visit Corporate clients for implementation of Payconiq solution. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities
  • Liaise with Belgium on strategy about how to further implement Payconiq in Belgium and other countries with the help of sales resources
  • Liaise with Payconiq Marketing both internationally and locally to develop successful merchant marketing campaigns in order to stimulate usage
  • Transfer client feedback to usable improvements in the various products

For this position you

  • Want to be part of an entrepreneurial team
  • Speak and write English fluently, and good understanding of Dutch and/or French
  • Have excellent skills in office, and other admin programs
  • Have experience in payments industry (mobile preferred)
  • Understand the online payments world of PSP and payment providers.
  • Understand current onsite (POS) payments infrastructure
  • Are able to interact with various levels of management and understand how to behave within bank
  • Have sales managerial experience (>5 years)
  • Have great Business Acumen
  • Have experience in forming partnerships and managing sales teams
